Vitamin D is responsible for many processes in the organism. It contributes, for instance, to the development of bones and teeth, muscle function and a healthy immune system. In addition, the vitamin is important for the normal absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus, which, in turn, play an important role in the bone metabolism.
Around 80% of vitamin D is produced in the body via the skin with the help of sunlight. 20% must be ingested through food. Infants, in particular, have an increased need for vitamin D. As breast milk does not contain sufficient vitamin D and infants should avoid direct sunlight because of their sensitive skin, a vitamin D supplement can be useful. D3 junior Denk is adapted to the particular needs of infants and children and meets their daily vitamin D requirements.
Allow one tablet per day disintegrate on a spoon with water and put the dissolved tablet directly into the child’s mouth, preferably during a meal.
