Electrolytes are minerals, trace elements and salts that are required in the body in sufficient quantities and in the right proportions. The electrolyte balance is crucial for maintaining various functions in the body’s cells.
If the body loses a lot of fluid, e.g. through excessive sweating, it not only loses water, but also important electrolytes. The body cannot produce these itself and must therefore absorb them through food. Elektrolyt Denk food supplement is an electrolyte-glucose mixture whose composition is based on WHO recommendations. Sodium, potassium and chloride are important electrolytes which, together with glucose and zinc, can be optimally absorbed by the body. Dissolved in 200 ml of water, Elektrolyt Denk helps to maintain the water-electrolyte balance.
